Welcome and introductions
* Theresa Tripp called the meeting to order and initiated Introductions.
* Susan Adams reviewed the agenda.
* Theresa Tripp thanked people and businesses for helping with the SNA Picnic on Sunday, May 21 at Memorial Park.

2) Treasurer Report Hugh Conroy
Membership Dues: The newsletter asked for memberships and 15 were mailed- $95.
$190.00 dues were collected at picnic. The Raffle made $64.00.
Hugh asked for the ability to go to GPac and open a checking acct. with two signatures required on checks. Approved.
Asked to approve paying the following expenses: Port a potty-$75.00, P.O. Box-$42.00;Secretary of State association registration fee-$35.00. Approved.

3) Dianna Davidson-Sunnyland Playground
Dianna Davidson suggested an article in the Sunnyland Neighborhood Association Newsletter to encourage neighbors to donate money to the playground. Carol LaVoi also suggested having neighbors write letters to the city to support playground equipment. Jeanne Fitzsimmons also suggested encouraging in the neighbors in an article in the SNA newsletter to designate Sunnyland at Target, Washington Mutual, Haggens, Office Deport, and any place else.

4) Meeting Time proposal and approval:
General Meetings Three times a year (Fall, Winter and Spring). The general meetings will have a social time at beginning with a speaker or presentation and time for discussion/input.
Monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month accept for July and August at 6:30pm.
Location: Sunnyland Elementary School
Block parties: Carol LaVoi suggested during the summer to have a SNA Potluck July and August at the new park near Texas Street.
SNA will have a Board Meeting on Sept. 19 and plan October’s General Meeting.


5) Website:-David Donahue provided an update on our current website and who will manage it.
David said that the new website is designated: www.sunnylandneighbors.org . David is trying to get back our other website from Dotster and they want $100.00. The website has potential for a forum and basic hosting and he will manage the content. David wanted pictures to post and so Susan will send him pictures of the SNA picnic. Liz suggested the website should have a calendar of SNA meeting dates, current projects, minutes, Newsletter, officers, links, map of neighborhood, other associations, and mayor’s neighborhood advisory minutes.

6) Signs update –Susan Adams
Susan brought a sample sign which was double sided on a metal a-frame. The signs will cost $313.for 7 signs. Susan had a map of the neighborhood and indicated with post it notes SNA’s 7 sites for signs.
Andrew Connor moved to Authorize expenditure of $100.00 for signs and to seek business or family sponsorships.

1) City Feedback Request –Susan Adams
Background-Susan had posted 3 questions at picnic at the request of city planning department-Tim Stewart.
Andrew Connor offered to be the person to coordinate connecting Urban Village, transportation, etc. Members of the committee are:
Andrew, Liz Jennings, Margaret Lyons, James, Jeanne,
Liz said to bring ideas to next the June meeting
Andrew said Dec. 1-Neighborhood Plan amendment proposal. Set three goals.
